About Brookfields Farm

Brookfields Farm is situated on the edge of Harmby village, Wensleydale and enjoys spectacular views across to Middleham and Penhill. Harmby has its very own impressive waterfall. Brookfields is a small working farm and conservation along with wildlife are at the forefront of our vision. We have some resident donkeys, ponies and sheep. The caravan site has been operational since at least the seventies, visitors to Brookfields enjoy the peace and tranquil setting along with the magic which Wensleydale has to offer. There are footpaths directly outside the entrance gates and the market town of Leyburn is just over a mile away, which has two supermarkets and a variety of interesting shops along with cafes, pubs, a variety of takeaways, The Wensleydale Brewery, to name but a few.

Booking Fees

£23 per night inc electric (this does not include electric car charging but this service is available upon request).

Any additional adult (above the number of 2) staying in a caravan or motorhome will be charged at £5 each per night.

Brookfields Caravan Park is open all year, all the pitches are hard standing, Arrival time is from 11am and departure is 11am.

  • Jervaulx Abbey
  • Middleham famous for it’s castle and racehorses (which you can see from Brookfields exercising on the gallops each morning).
  • Hawes for The Wensleydale Creamery which makes cheese from milk produced by local farmers in Wensleydale.
  • Aysgarth Falls are well worth a visit and The Wensleydale Icecream Parlour is just a little further up the road.
  • Local market towns of Richmond, Masham, Bedale and Northallerton.
  • Swaledale, Coverdale, Wharfdale are all within a short drive away.
